"Rooster Teeth Comics," brought to you by the guys who made Red vs Blue, is a comic about the guys who made Red vs. Blue. Punchlines are as standard as jokes get. Setup, deliberation, punchline. No real surprises, no clever wordplay (aside from a pun or two) and the characters are very basic archetypes.
The comic reads like it was commissioned. "Hey, we need someone to make a comic about us because we're really funny, and we think a comic about us would be equally, if not moreso, funny."
One thing's that's nice is its humor is genuine, not self-important. The comic is out to make you laugh, not to make a cheap buck (although you can buy the Rooster Teeth Comic collection "Year One" online! A great buy for Christmas!)
